Title literally says it all. In case you didn't know the story, let me tell you it all over again... straight from my mind...

About three years ago, I was a young and naive guy who loved Stick Arena. These are the days since the Ballistick expansion came out and the servers were full of life. It was probably the best time to play the game.

In November of that year, someone stole my Stick Arena account, which devastated me. I was rank 8 with over 8,000 cred, and I've gained a lot of experience in just four months since I first started. My account was older than that though, I originally created it to play Territory WAR Online. I didn't create a new account in fear of confusion, so for three years I played nothing but QuickStart games. When the Dimensions expansion came out, I was completely numb with devastation. This whole game, which thousands of people loved for being "the best Flash game ever made", was nothing more than lag-fest. It still is.

Most of the fanbase left. I was one of them.

A few days after Dimensions release, XGen Studios (the creators), after massive criticism of Dimensions with its added lag and lame fonts and demand for the return of Ballistick, they created a separate server and released "Stick Arena Classic", which was the Ballistick expansion on just one server - the Cartesian Republic - for those who hated Dimensions. I kept playing Quick Start games there, and telling my tale to whoever actually bothered to listen. It turns out a lot of people also had stolen accounts (Or were they just lying?).

Two months ago, I stopped feeling sorry for myself, and decided to create a new account - k6ka1, following the same principle as my YouTube account (Someone else already had the username k6ka, and since they didn't do anything with the account, I just created k6ka1 and used that instead). I played on the classic server and reclaimed nostalgic memories.

On the day this was written, literally just an hour and a half ago, on December 6, 2012, at around 16:30 EST, I was reclining in front of my desktop computer with the lobby screen in front of me, when suddenly, the guy who stole my account, ,,..f33r..,, , PM'd me:

"Hello"

"I have a present for you"

And then, I got a message from k6ka:

"Surprise"

Kinda strange having your old, lost account whisper you in a game lobby, like a lost mother calling to her son, whom she had not seen for years, and you realize that the suffering was over. It was finally done. Like evil taking your loved one and just when you thought you'll never see them again, they appear, literally, calling you. From the past? A portal? Was it implying something else? Was it...?

Nope. I wasn't dreaming, though it felt like a dream. While everyone else in the lobby was saying "What's going on?" "Awkward" and "What the hell?", a simple password appeared on the screen:

"Pass for your old account is 123"

k6ka vanished from the user list, so I quickly logged out and logged back in with my old account. This wasn't a joke either - the pass was genuine! I was actually back in my old account that I've been searching for over three years and the closest I came to it was in a YouTube video.

And the funny thing was, three years ago I would've gone completely wild and tore down the house, but today I didn't. I just sat there, while ,,..f33r..,, was apologizing and saying that what he did was corny and lame. I just sat there, completely motionless, unable to take in what I had just seen.

Really, I didn't feel so happy because, well, Stick Arena sucks now. Most of the fanbase quit when Dimensions came out, and Dimensions brought only lag and lameness to the game, and it was rushed - in a quick review in the XGen forums I wrote:

"i didn't like this update because it was too much like the original. just like what happened to Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, nearly everything was the same, but unlike RCT2, this one's worse. Why?

-More lag: There's way more lag than before. In Ballistick my FPS was hovering at about 40. Here it's down to 22. I lag a lot, players lag a lot, ugh!
-Too much like the original: Everything was merely tweaked, not redesigned.
-No more capital, fancy, and familiar SA letters - I get plain text.
-No new map themes: Well that just sucks!
-Most of the coding from Ballistick still existed: The "Unable to pick up a weapon" bug still exists, which obviously means that no changes to the coding there was made!
-The whole thing was rushed: Any fool can tell.

Unfortunately, Stick Arena, once a brilliant game, is now amongst the worst games on the Internet in existence. I'm sorry XGen, but the Stick Arena series is now at 0.1/5 stars.

So, to clarify, I have 3 XGen accounts now. One is k6ka, the original one created way back in 2009, one is k6ka1, which was created two months ago, and the third is k6ka3, which I only use for Stick RPG 2.

Okay, I'm done with this post. Whether you cared or not, I don't care. I just want to say it, and I've said it.
